GENERAL HELP OF LISTERIA TDRM DATABASE

The Listeria TDRM Database is divided into 3 parts (3 frames):

1) The vertical left frame contains all necessary links for performing the usual browsing on other database:

(a) The upper part of this frame contains categories of the database according to 3 types of information being stored on database: gene annotation, domain annotation and complete gene list of the bacteria.
---> The Gene Annotation tab will run the query and will fetch the list of all the thiol and thioredoxin like genes along with the annotations to the user.
---> The Domain Annotation tab will run the query and will fetch the list of all the thiol and thioredoxin like genes along with the annotations of the protein domains.
---> The Complete Gene List tab fetches all the genes of the L. monocytogenes EDG-e from ListiList.

(b)The lower part of this frame allows you to browse external databases:
---> PUBMED
---> LEGER
---> ListiList
---> VFDB
---> CDD
---> InterPro
---> PDB
---> NCBI
---> Swiss-Prot

2) The right upper frame can contains various types of search options:
(a) When accessing Listeria TDRM Database through the Home page, it contains the Listeria image is present as the logo of the database. It contains a brief information about the bacteria along with the objectives why this work was undertaken.
(b) Next is the Search option which lets you browse through the individual information by the Gene Id or Protein Id.
(c) TDRM Analysis link helps us to view the graphical representation of clustering of genes.
(d) Genome Browser is a tool which can align the complete genome sequences to study the common domain being present.
(e) Help links are present everywhere for guiding you through the Database browsing.
(f) A list of references is also being enlisted for the convenience.

3) The right bottom frame is dynamic.
